Chris Paul (born May 06, 1985) is an American professional Basketball player from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. He is one of the top players of the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and handles the position of point guard in the team.
When he joined the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets in 2005, he became a well-known league’s premier point guards. Paul led the NBA in assists four times and steals six times.
Paul has won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award along with two Olympic gold medals.

Career
Paul began his career as a team leader for his first game itself for the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest. Being a skilled and excellent player, he was honored with the ‘Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year’ Award in 2006.
Paul also broke five freshman records successfully: for free throws, assists, steals, three-point percentages, as well as free throws.
His list achievements are quite long. In fact, many reputed publications also referred to him as the nation’s best player. In 2005, CP3 helped his team won 38 games for New Orleans Hornets.
