Jalen Milroe was born on December 13, 2002 (age: 20 years, as of 2023<\/strong>), in Katy, Texas, USA. He is the son of Quentin and Lola Milroe, who both served in the US military. His father was a Marine who fought in Iraq, and his mother was in the Navy. Jalen grew up in a disciplined and supportive environment, where he learned the values of hard work, respect, and patriotism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jalen attended Obra D. Tompkins High School in Katy, where he excelled both academically and athletically. He was a four-star recruit and a top-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the state of Texas. He led his team to the state semifinals in his junior year, throwing for 2,689 yards and 29 touchdowns, and rushing for 378 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had a stellar senior year, passing for 1,136 yards and 13 touchdowns, and running for 231 yards and four touchdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jalen was originally committed to play for the Texas Longhorns, but he changed his mind and signed with the Alabama Crimson Tide in December 2020. He said he was attracted by the winning culture and the opportunity to learn from the best coaches and players in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
