Gillian Turner was born on September 6, 1982 (age: 41 years, as of 2023<\/strong>), in New York City, New York, to American parents who were diplomats for the United States government. She spent her childhood in Cape Town, South Africa, where she attended a local school and developed an interest in dance. She later moved back to the United States and joined the School of American Ballet, where she performed with the Pennsylvania Ballet for a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turner graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Politics from Columbia University in New York City in 2005. She was also named a Sharp Fellow at the university.
