Bea Alonzo was born as Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom on October 17, 1987 (age: 36 years, as of 2023), in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines. Her father, Philip Fagestrom, is British, and her mother, Mary Anne Garcia, is Filipino. Her parents separated when she was four years old. She has a younger brother, James Carlos, on her mother’s side.

She completed her elementary education in 2001 at the Jose Abad Santos Memorial School in Quezon City. She then attended The Fisher Valley College, Ususan Elementary School, and Colegio de Santa Ana in Taguig for her secondary education.

She developed an interest in acting at an early age and joined various theater groups and workshops. She also participated in beauty pageants and modeling contests.

Bea Alonzo achieved critical and commercial success with her role as Basha, a woman who struggles to find herself after breaking up with her long-time boyfriend, in the 2007 romantic drama One More Chance.
