Syahadan is a local movie that tells the story of a group of friends who embark on a journey to perform the pilgrimage to Mecca. The movie, which was released on 18th March 2022, has received positive reviews from the public and the media, as well as praise from the Minister of Religious Affairs, Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri.

However, Zhafvlog, who has more than 1.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, posted a video on 20th March 2022, in which he slammed the movie for being boring, unrealistic, and full of flaws. He also mocked the actors, the dialogue, the cinematography, and the message of the movie. He claimed that the movie was a waste of time and money and that he regretted watching it.
